I'm toying with the idea of posting good tech deals here along with the moblog photos. Not sure how regularly I'll do it, but here's a deal I wish I had seen a couple of weeks earlier:
Amazon is offering a 1 GB Viking CompactFlash card for $109.94 (already less than I paid for mine from a different maker at Newegg) with a $45 rebate bringing the total to $64.94... which happens to be exactly damn half of what I paid for mine last week.
Notes: Amazon often runs these little sales more or less at random and the price can change at any time. Don't get all up in my grits if it goes away. And yeah, it's an Amazon referrer link. In the 4 years or so I've used them, I've made $10. If that level of selling out offends you, bite me :)
