Brian Herbert should be ashamed. And really, if he couldn't stop himself from whoring out his father's memory, couldn't he have at least picked a better writer than Kevin J. Anderson? That guy is the epitome of hack. And the books themselves are about as readable as those Star Wars prequel novelizations. Fucking depressing! Anyway, I reread the real Dune books recently, and Heretics of Dune and Chapterhouse: Dune get better with each successive reading. If Herbert really did intend to write another Dune novel, it has to be one of literature's great lost opportunities.
