As a result of my previous post, I've decided that I really am going to make a website for alumni from my high school to keep in touch. The bad part is I'll probably wind up paying Classmates.com for a membership, but I'll use it to get contact email addresses for everyone and tell them to go to our (free) site instead. They might get my money, but I'll do my best to make sure they don't get it from dozens, maybe hundreds, or other people. Ha!

Posted by: mush on September 17, 2002 09:21 PM - linkEvery year! I found that dasota.com was available (the school uses dasota.org) so I'm going to get started on a community site there with a message board and hopefully a way for people to make profiles sort of like you can on classmates.com. When I get it set up, maybe I could enlist your help in telling people about it?
Posted by: Xkot on September 17, 2002 09:24 PM - linkThat's a great idea! I would love to know what's
happening with everybody I knew (not just people from our year) and I don't want to sign up for all sorts of pay sites.
Beware the Mojito Prophecy!

Posted by: mush on September 18, 2002 02:32 PM - linkHey that sounds awesome. I'm the unofficial class reunion president for class of '99. Right now I just spent the crappin almost 40 bucks to contact everyone through Classmates, but even then your ability to contact people is limited. I'm moving everyone over to our Yahoo! Group. I'd love to have a DA alumni page though. Feel free to email me and i'll try to help out.
Talk to you later!

I attended D.A. but changed schools and didn't graduate there in '99 as scheduled, so I wouldn't even be on an alumni list.
