Have you never seen the excellent animated film, The Iron Giant? If you have the cartoon network, you can remedy that starting this Tuesday night at 7:00 PM. They're showing a 24-hour back to back marathon of it, so you have 12 chances to catch it. It's one of the best animated films ever, in my humble opinion.

Fucking robot made me weep like a little girl when he took that nuke. Of course, I was buoyed by the ending...Vin Diesel will never make a better film (although I did enjoy Pitch Black)
If it makes you feel any better, I get teary-eyed every single time I watch that movie.

Great movie, which I never saw until about a year ago, when I was visiting friends with an 8 yr old. We all sat and watched it. Just a wonderful flick...

It's not bad (I don't know why, but for some reason I have an extremely hard time being objective about him or his work...his poetry irks me immensely) but I prefer the film.
