One of my favorite TV shows is Travel Sick (sites: US / UK). In each episode a guy named Grub travels to a different place where he has to pass a number of challenges, such as getting a skinhead to sing with him or kissing a corpse. If he fails at the challenge, the penalty is even worse. I certainly hope he gets paid well.
The show airs on Comedy Central here in the US on Sunday nights at 12. There are also some video clips on the net that you can check out. Don't miss the one called "Korea the live squid horror."

Posted by: ezrael on July 1, 2002 05:41 AM - linkI loved the one where he had to join a gang, and he got the gang member to punch him softly once for practice. So, the guy punched him, and Grub just crumpled to the ground, screaming in pain. The gang member was more than a little perplexed: "I didn't think it was all that hard...."
How many people didn't know Grub Smith is (used to be??? I don't know if this is one of those things that just sort of fades, or if it's like riding a bike) a "sexpert"??? **raises hand slowly~* I didn't....

Posted by: Matthew on January 28, 2003 09:17 AM - linkHey everyone. I am a stand up comic in las vegas and i got to do a show with grub for the new season. One of his tasks was to do a stand up show at a club named, "The Beach". Anyway after the show i got to hang out with him and he is a very smart, down to earth guy. He was very cool. anyways just came accross this site and thought i would tell you all.
Posted by: Crowley on November 29, 2003 04:41 PM - linkI was also wondering if the series is on DVD. I saw some of the episodes in re-runs on comedy Centeral in the U.S.
Unfortunately, it doesn't run any longer. Will they make any more episodes? Grub is fantastic, but he doesn't seem the type to be a sexpert--of course looks can be deceiving.
