Pathetic

AT&T Broadband can't provide decent service, so instead they're trying to bribe their way out of it.

I don't blame the people that work there - most of them really do try as hard as they can, but they are constantly fucked over and betrayed by the bigwigs. That's what makes me even more angry... the people who actually care get screamed at, while the ones responsible sit in conference rooms and think of new ways to screw them.

The range of fines could be between $2500 and 9.4M, depending on how they define an incident.

I doubt they'll agree on anything over $250K, but we'll see.

What I've been wondering is...Has everyone forgotten how crappy their BellSouth service is? What about power? I have no power issues, but colleagues at work have them frequently.

I personally have been having problems with my phone line for about a month. Even at this very moment both of my phone lines are currently out. The best BS customer service can say is that there is an outage and it will be back online tonight or tomorrow at the latest. Thats no comfort.

:(

My electric service is always excellent, and the only time I had a BellSouth problem, it was because the previous resident had... you guessed it... AT&T Broadband telephony and the inside wiring was fucked up.
